SECNET was originally developed for rail straightness and rolling contact fatique measuring devices.
In the past months, support for the platform and turnout geometry measuring device: TrackScan was added to SECNET.
Used by MÁV and many railroad construction companies in Hungary, and by many more throughout the world, TrackScan is now capable of operating in the SECNET system:
-measurement results are uploaded through a GSM module to a central server, immediately after measurements
-it stores the GPS coordinates of the device - MÁV-Thermit Hegesztő Kft. is the market leader in aluminothermic welding of rails in Hungary.
For controlling the quality of weldings, they use 30 straightness measuring devices.
Starting from January 2013, MÁV-Thermit Hegesztő Kft. will operate these devices in our SECNET system.
